A) specific medications targeting eating disorders
B) psychological therapy
C) dieting
D) personal trainers

Respuesta :

A combination of A and B. If you have to choose one, I suggest A.
Hey there!

I would say that the answer is B, psychological therapy. The other answers don't make as much sense as B does, at least to me.

As far as I know, there isn't any type of medication that treats anorexia or bulimia directly. A person with either of these conditions could take antidepressants to hopefully help with any negative, depressed, or suicidal thoughts the person may be having, but there isn't a medication that directly targets these conditions.

Dieting and personal training probably wouldn't be the best thing for someone battling anorexia or bulimia. If they're still going through the worst of it and aren't able to eat or maintain food in their body, working out isn't recommended, since it can be dangerous to do rigorous physical activity without eating. Also, dieting wouldn't really help at this time, since anorexic people already typically eat as little as possible and a bulimic person wouldn't be able to retain that food in their body anyways. These options may be beneficial to help someone with their health and self–confidence in the future once they start getting treatment and start eating again, but at the time of someone still unable to keep food in their body, it's not something that should be used to treat these conditions.

Anorexia and bulimia are mental conditions. They should regularly talk to a therapist or someone that they trust very much in order to voice their concerns with their bodies and crack down on why exactly they are in this mental state. With that, I'd say your answer is B.

Hope this helped you out! :-)
