Lines 39 to 56 makes reference to friars and there is a specific sentence that says: "For now the saintly charity and prayer of holy friars seem to have purged the air" the author states that the Friars have been in charge of bless everything and that is the reason there are no fairies left. So what I can interpret about the wife's personality is that she was not attached to any religion it was like that action (bless) mean give up something special in this tale that special thing were fairies
On the lines 101 to 126 she listed things that are believed that women want "A man can win us best with flattery" she emphasizes that the only thing we want is freedom and trust she gives many examples of that and that reflect what she really wanted: being capable of choosing
The idea of marriage can be summarized in few lines "Jesus send us husbands meek and young and fresh in bed" "Cut short the lives of those who wont be governed by their wives" The impression that I have of the wife's personallity is to be someone that likes to have the control of herself and her happiness a person that didn't let others change her mind.

When it comes to friars, the Wife of Bath is not very positive. She argues that fairies and other magical creatures that were common in the past are no longer common due to the work of friars. She also tells us that friars often abuse women. This reveals that the Wife of Bath does not have a very good opinion on frairs, and perhaps religion at large.
We also learn that the Wife of Bath believes that the thing women want more than anything is being free. Women want to be able to make their own decisions, chose their own destiny and have their own opinions. This is also reflected in the fact that the knight goes around the kingdom asking for women's opinions. This reveals that the wife is probably a liberal, free-thinking woman.
Finally, the Wife of Bath makes some comments on marriage. We learn that she believes marriage to be a power relation. This is conveyed when she talks about women having power over their husband. This also contributes to developing the idea of the Wife of Bath as a liberal, independent woman.
