Sam has a phone card that charges $1 to connect and $0.50 per minute. He also uses a cell phone that charges $3 to connect and $0.25 per minute. In how many minutes will calls made using the phone card and the cell phone cost the same?

Sam has a phone card that charges $1 to connect. If it is 50 cents a minute he would be able to call for 2mintues on  this phone. His or her cell phone CHARGES $3 and it is 25cents per mintue. which would be..  12mintues
