Solve:-
6/5 - 14/15
To solve this first we will have to find a least common denominator (lcd) of the denominators.
Multiples:-
5 = 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30
15 = 15, 30, 45, 60
So, the denominator will become 15.
Now lets change the numerator:-
(15 ÷ 5) × 6 = 18
(15 ÷ 15) × 14 = 14
Re-write the question with new fractions:-
18/15 - 14/15 = ?
[tex] \frac{18}{15}- \frac{14}{15} = \frac{4}{15} [/tex]
So, the answer to your question is, B. 4/15.
Hope I helped ya!! xD
