The country has thousands of privately run social service organizations. Two of the most well-known organizations are Salvation Army and Goodwill Industries.
Most people, when they think of where to donate their items they no longer need or want to, they are thinking of donating to the Salvation Army or Goodwill. These two organizations take donated items and sell them for a small profit to pay employees and such. These items are sold extremely low cost so those who can not afford much clothes or household items can.
