Nematodes and arthropods both grow in conjunction shedding their exoskeleton. Nematodes and arthropods have a variety of similarity which includes; they both posses an external covering, or cuticle, they must molt in order to increase in size among other similar features. Arthropods are named for their jointed appendages.
