One personal opinion: Considering the person believes this world we live in or the times we live in is in fact 'dark' I believe the best way to give light on the situation is to make it 'un-dark'. Let me clarify. If you know the world is running out of fresh water but so much of our planet is made of undrinkable water, wouldn't it be in human's best interest to figure out how to make that undrinkable water, drinkable?
There are so many ideas to make light of any situation. This is called Positive thinking or optimism. The hopefulness and confidence about the future.
Your future is what you make it. So make it a GREAT one.
