In your opinion, how does the literature of this period influence future generations of American literature? Where have you seen traces of these themes and how were they presented in the other literature you read?

I agree with the previous answer posted, but it doesnt really answer the question of how themes of the revolution are present in modern day literature...

~~Now for how today's literature has traces of the themes of the revolution in today's literature, I have noticed many reaccuring themes of the revolution in modern day writing.  Individualism for example is one of the most major themes of the revolution.  This theme occurs in children's books, so even at a very young age you are learning about growing up and becoming your own person.~~
