Fuses and circuit breakers that are meant to break the circuit when necessary that is when the is an overload in current in a circuit they break and discontinue the circuit therefore preventing the damage of appliances in use. They are normally connected to live wire of the circuit which carries current and always in series. Therefore, the above statement is false
