Terri Schiavo's medical
condition in 2005. can best be described as permanent vegetative state. Schiavo
went to full cardiac arrest at her home, but was successfully resuscitated.
However, she had massive brain damage due to lack of oxygen to her brain and
was fell into a coma. Her state couldn’t be improved, so her diagnosis was
changed to that of a permanent vegetative
state.
