Respuesta :

The DNA (Deoxuribonucleic Acid) is present in the nucleus of the Eukaryotic cell. The Eukaryotic cells have membrane bound nucleus present inside the cell, which is absent in the prokaryotic cells. The genetic material is present in the nucleolus in the prokaryotic cells with no membrane circling its boundry. however, in the Eukaryotes, the nucleus is membrane bound and the genetic material (DNA) is present inside it.

DNA  is located in the nucleus of a eukaryotic cell.

Further Explanation;

Eukaryotic cells

  • These are cells that contain membrane bound nucleus and membrane bound organelles such as endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus, mitochondria, etc.

Prokaryotic cells

  • These are cells that lack nucleus membrane and a nucleus together with membrane bound organelles.
  • They include cells of lower organisms such as bacteria and Archaea.

Nucleus

  • Nucleus is a cell organelle that stores the genetic material of a cell.
  • The genetic material of a eukaryotic cells is enclosed in a nucleus that is bound by a nuclear membrane.

DNA

  • DNA is a nuclei acid that is responsible for carrying genetic information in living organisms.
  • It is through DNA that genetic information is passed from one organism to another through the process of DNA replication.
  • Additionally, it carries the information that is used to make proteins which performs various functions in living cells.
  • Each Nucleotide in DNA contains a nitrogenous base, a deoxyribose sugar, and a phosphate group.
