Cells in an organism are similar to a team of basketball player because each cell has their own purpose and function, they work together to sustain the organism, but each has their own responsibility. Such as some cells makes up the stomach, or some makes up the teeth. They work together in the digestive system. But each of them has their own function such as chewing or absorbing nutrients.
Same in a team of basketball players, they all help the team to achieve a goal, such as winning, but each player has their own job or function, such as blocking opposite team members or shooting.

The cells are the fundamental structural unit of living beings. They serve as the structural backbone, regulate nutrient activities, and perform many other functions.

  • They are comparable to the team of basketball players as they work collectively in an orderly manner to perform their designated function and role.

  • Different types of cells perform different functions such as cells of organs like skin, liver, kidney, intestines, and lungs, but all together they perform the function for the excretory system.

  • Similarly, the basketball team has  players who have different abilities and functions to perform  like some members are responsible for the centre position, power forward, shooting or as a point guard.

  • They all together works as a team and tries to achieve the goal of winning.

Therefore, cells can be compared to the team of basketball players.
