Any type of assessment either Trauma or Medical Assessment, is all about sizing up the scene for dangers, triage, etc... we then begin the primary assessment to gather any life threats. Secondary assessment tools are used in trauma as a full body search for any injuries that aren't life threats, in medical you use medical assessment tools to gather a general suspicion.
