Job 1 is a better choice because the annual income after housing is $65,800 but that of job 2 is $64,700.

I would go with job 1. Not only will you profit more money annually after housing and utilities are paid but California is a much more expensive year round. When moving to a large city/state like California, you need to determine the best overall place to live against all expenses that you may have.
