Here's how to solve this question without the use of a calculator.
[tex] 7 \times { \frac{1}{2} } = { \frac{7 \times 1}{2} } = { \frac{7}{2} } [/tex]
7/2 ÷ 1/3 = ?
Change division to multiplication.
[tex] { \frac{7}{2} } \times { \frac{3}{1} } = { \frac{7 \times 3}{2 \times 1} } = { \frac{21}{2} } [/tex]
21/2 = 10.5 ≈ 10 (rounded)
