What do the properties of waves moving through aquatic environments tell us about the organisms living in those environments?

Respuesta :

Aquatic organisms greatly depend on the abiotic actors of an aquatic environment. Waves moving through the aquatic environment also influence the organisms living there. Depending upon the tidal zones, the organisms varies. Many aquatic organisms grow well in the intertidal zone can live in dry environment for a longer period of time. These organisms are also well adapted to withstand the damages that might be caused by the repeatedly pounding wave actions. Such organisms have tough exoskeleton (strong shell) to protect them from wave damage.
Some coastal plants are firmly attached to the rocks o that these are not torn away by the wave action. These plants have small, tough feather-like leaves.
