The median is the middle number.....so we must first put the numbers in ascending order...lowest to highest...that is very important

7.9, 10.7, 11.2, 12.4, 14.6, 15.3, 21.5, 30.4....notice there are 8 numbers...when there is an even number of numbers, there will be 2 middle numbers. U take those 2 numbers and add them, then divide by 2 to find the median. If there was an odd number of numbers, there would only be 1 middle number.

So we start at both ends of our numbers and count inwards till we find the 2 middle numbers....and they are 12.4 and 14.6......so we do our adding and dividing...(12.4 + 14.6) / 2 = 27/2 = 13.5 cm <== ur median
