I think the colonization of the North America had educated and taught the North Americans to be independent. The Americans were able to assimilate in terms of culture, religion, government, and language. They were able to create their own government and create a constitution basing from the British Constitution. Although there were conflicts in the internal aspect, the country was able to grow in terms of education, economy and culturally.
