Originally, our slope is positive 3 or 3/1. First we add the opposing side which in this case would be negative. Making -3 or -3/1. Now we must flip it to -1/3. Every whole number automatically has a "1" under it as a denominator.  For #19 we would make it y=-4/3x+5 as our perp equation. Then just plug in 3(x) and -3(y). (-3)= -4/3(3)+5.
