The purpose of these references in the introduction in the conclusion is that it enables the readers to have the idea of where it came from or where is the facts being supported. This will make the paragraph more clear and could be understood, creating or providing the readers a sense of closure in which, they need.
Conclusions are brief summaries of what an entire article talks about. During conclusion, a writer makes sure he/she brings all of the information contained in the body of the work and introduction together and passes a final statement. It is ideal to make reference of the introduction at the concluding part of an article, to keep the reader reminded of the original subject matter of discourse.
