• Has a persuasive purpose and targets a specific audience.
• Uses vocabulary that is appropriate, given the audience and purpose.
• Includes a specific, focused thesis statement.
• Includes the use of
1. Two different rhetorical fallacies (ad hominem, exaggeration, stereotyping, categorical claims).
2. Two different emotional appeals (loaded language, flatter the audience, divide the opposition, filter the evidence).
3. One of each of the following: parallelism and repetition.
• Includes a concluding paragraph that restates the thesis statement.
• Includes the use of at least three of your module vocabulary terms.
• Conforms to the conventions of standard English grammar, mechanics, spelling, and punctuation.
Remember to submit your essay outline along with your essay.

OK The topic I chose was on if Children should have social media. I said no and here are my reasons why: 
*There can be inappropriate content
*People can send you friend requests that are scams
*There are many intriguing ads which contain viruses
*Some things on the sites are really scary or have adult humor
*There can be large amounts of obscenities such as swear words

Children can be too young to understand some things that have to do with the internet like these scams, and some may be too young to understand the some words are meant to be refrained from. (That can be your thesis, and use your propaganda skills to assemble these ideas into an essay that really shows social media is not for everyone. Also remember to include the age you think should be allowed to use it.
