Audrey and Megan are decorating for a birthday party. Audrey hangs 4 streamers in the same amount of time that Megan hangs 6. If Audrey hangs 12 streamers,how many will Megan hang?

you can know Audrey take 3 units of time to hang 12 streamers

then how many streamers can Megan hang in 3 units of time?
Just multiply the number of streamers that Megan can hang in a unit of time by 3
→ 6 * 3 = 18

So the answer is 18
