An object moving at 34m/s takes 3s to come to a stop. What is the object’s acceleration?_____m/s2

Respuesta :

deceleration = vel change / time = 34/3 = 11.33 m/s^2

Acceleration = change in velocity / time
A=(vf -vi)/t
Vf=0
Vi=34
T=3
A=(0-34)/3 = -11.33 ms^2
Remember that acceleration is negative since it's slowing down so it's accelerating in the opposite direction than it was initially going.
