Respuesta :

...? but ya know what evs
Anyways, the 13th amendment banned slavery permanently bc the entire war was over the fact of slavery happening in the southern states.
The 14th amendment allowed women to vote bc women were revolting in the streets and things similar to that.
The civil rights act outlaws discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
The reconstruction acts gave back the southern states to the union
The 13th Amendment - states “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States or any place subject to their jurisdiction. The 13th amendment was ratified in December, 1865.

President Johnson’s plan was to call for a higher loyalty oath, congress disagreed and passed harder laws for the southern states.

The 14th Amendment - Makes native-born blacks citizens and grantees all citizens "equal protection of the laws." Threatens to reduce representatives of a state that denies suffrage to any of its male inhabitants.

The Civil Rights Act - Affirms the rights of blacks to enjoy "full and equal benefit of all laws and proceedings for the security of person and property as is enjoyed by white citizens" and effectively requires the end of legal discrimination in state laws.

The Reconstruction Acts - (military reconstruction acts) Impose military rule in the South, establish rules for readmission of ex-Confederate states to the Union, and require those states to guarantee the vote to black men.

Hope this helps! History is one of my favorite subjects and I had a huge project on this not to long ago.
