I believe it's possible to take over another nation without oppressing the nation's people. However, history has shown otherwise; but we can use those mistakes from the past and improve in the future. Imperialism has become more oppressive, even if the imperialist military interventions become “national defense,” “national security,” and maintaining “stability”. It can be possible with all the technology, to not oppress people, but society has always created an "upper class" and "lower class". As long as these two classes exist, there will always be oppression and violence. If this were possible we wouldn't have wars. There are people in this world who crave power or need power. No one will just let others invade their country so easily. Every people has their own rights and nations don't have the right to deny people their rights. People will get mad and start protests and revolutions to gain their right again.
