My generation seems to be more conservative in its value system than the previous generation. In the previous generation, people were not as negative towards immigrants, nor did they encourage the protectionist practices that we encourage nowadays. Moreover, the Conservative party has become more popular in recent years, while the Democratic party was more dominant in the past. People in past generations also had more unplanned pregnancies and used more drugs. If the current trend continues, then teenagers of the future will pobably be even more conservative than we are.
