volume of a cone = 1/3 × pi × radius ( squared ) × height .

radius = diameter / 2
= 8 / 2
= 4 m

height = 9m
pi = 3.14

volume = 1/3 × 3.14 × 4^2 × 9
= 1 / 3 × 3.14 × 16 × 9
= 150.72 meters cubed
