Types of Formal Discipline - Formal disciplinary moves include but are no longer constrained to written warnings, formal conferences with supervisors, suspension except pay, and discharge. Formal disciplinary movements can also be combined.
The theory of formal discipline is based totally on an older concept of mental faculties by using Aristotle. The concept classifies two special theories of the mind: general-faculty-theory and organismic-unity-faculty-theory (Johri, 2005).
