A shadow 2 meters long is cast by a statue that is 2.1 meters tall. If a stucco column close by casts a shadow 4 meters long, how tall is the stucco column?
Please show work.

Ratio of object to shadow = 2.1 / 2
Let, the height of stucco column = x

Then, it would be: 2.1 / 2 = 4.2 / x
x = 4.2/2.1 * 2
x = 2 * 2
x = 4

In short, Your Answer would be 4 meters
