The members of the disaster recovery team should not serve with the ir team or bc team because the duties may overlap if an incident escalates to disaster.

Organizations, therefore must have a developed cyber risk management to reduce operational downtime and prevent financial and reputational losses.

The role of IR is to quickly detect, respond and recover from an attack and thereby minimizing damages. BC stands for Business Continuity and seeks to ensure that a business keeps going with minimal interruptions and seeks unknown emergency and deals with them.
