Do you think the federal government should be able to force Texas and other
states to follow federal policies that they normally wouldn't have to in exchange for receiving money
from the federal government?

Respuesta :

I do not think that the federal government should force Texas and other states to follow federal policies in exchange for federal aid because the constititution discourages this.

What is federal aid?

Federal aid includes federal grants, loans, or other federal assistance for certain federal programs or policies.

The constitution does not empower the federal government to hamstring states to follow its policies.  However, with federal aid, the federal government can influence states, including Texas.

Thus, I do not think that the federal government should force Texas and other states to follow federal policies in exchange for federal aid.
