The  fill up of the coordinates of A' , B' , C' , and D'  are given below:

  • A= (2, -3),
  • B= (5, -5),
  • C= (7, -3)
  • D= (5, -2).

What is the graph about?

The figure ABCD is known to be reflected across the X-axis and thus we have to look for the co-ordinates of A, B, C and D after reflection occurs.

Using the figure attached, we can see that the co-ordinates of the vertices of ABCD are A(2, 3), B(5, 5), C(7, 3) and D(5, 2).

After reflection from X-axis, the y co-ordinate of each vertex will be altered to its sign (y → -y).

So,  the vertices of ABCD after reflection are seen as:

A(2, 3)  =   A'(2, -3),

B(5, 5)  =  B'(5, -5),

C(7, 3)  =   C'(7, -3),

D(5, 2)  = D'(5, -2).

Therefore, we can say that the needed vertices after reflection are:

  • A= (2, -3),
  • B= (5, -5),
  • C= (7, -3)
  • D= (5, -2).
