My favorite color is soft purple. This color means a lot to me because my favorite song is from a band called the Goo Goo Dolls entitled "Iris". Iris's are typically purple. To me purple makes me think of that song and symbolizes love, sacrifice, and beauty. It shows up a lot in my life on bumper stickers I put on my car, to jewelry, to wallpapers on my devices. Purple has deep emotional meaning to me tied to love and sacrifice. The song talks in the context of the movie "City of Angels", it talks about giving up immortality for love. So to me purple symbolizes deep feelings, love, and sacrifice.
