What do I need to do for 4.01?
Select one of the following ideas for a new law or public policy.
Increasing spending on programs for those in need
Building new offshore drilling rigs
Replacing a strip mall with a superstore
Increasing the minimum driving age
Discuss the issue with a parent or trusted adult in your community.
Use the template on page 9 to write a paragraph of AT LEAST FIVE SENTENCES that explains your perspective on the issue you chose. Be sure to include THREE REASONS for your perspective. There is no wrong answer, but you must use details from the debate on your chosen topic from the lesson.
Write a second paragraph on the template to describe how else the issue could be address, such as the example you described in your CAP file. This paragraph should also be AT LEAST FIVE SENTENCES. Include new ideas from the discussion with a parent or trusted adult.
Save your work to one file to turn in. Check your spelling and grammar.
