Rectangle A and rectangle B are similar. Rectangle A has a width of 5cm and length of 8cm. Rectangle B has a width of 10cm. What is the length of rectangle B?

The answer is 16.

Since the rectangles are similar, the ratio of their height and width will be the same

The width of rectangle B is 10, which is 2 x the width of rectangle A

So the length will also be 2 x the length of A

2 x 8 is 16
