factorize [tex]x^2-4x[/tex] giving us [tex]x\left(x-4\right)[/tex]

[tex]\frac{\left(x-1\right)\left(x-4\right)}{x\left(x-4\right)}[/tex]

cancel the common factor [tex]x-4[/tex]

and we get [tex]\frac{x-1}{x}[/tex]
