A narrative organizational chart consists of the following sub-divisions:

1) Beginning: characters and setting

2) Middle: conflict, rising action and climax

3) End : Resolution of conflict and Reflection

Explanation:

Beginning:

• Characters: Dan Clark and Christopher Watson  

• Setting: The circus in Smyrna

Middle:

• Conflict: The two boys really wanted to go see the circus but one of them was really afraid of clowns and the other one was afraid of large animals.  

• Rising action: They decided to help each other overcome their fears by going to the circus together.

• Climax: In an act, they saw the clowns as well as the animals together.

End:

• Resolution of conflict: The boys realized that the clowns were friendly when they came to talk to the boys and the animals were trained too. They volunteered for the next act.

• Reflection: Face your fears, sometimes they are only in our minds.
