Good day everyone,
I'm supporting the motion that "The use of plastics and plastic related containers should be banned in the country"
- No doubt plastics containers is one of the best containers to store liquids but it harmful in the environment. It causes suffocation when it is placed very close to the nose.
Suffocation is a situation in
which an individual is not
able to breathe well.
- It can also be used by criminals to commit crime. Since, plastics can be found easily, it makes it easy for criminals to have access to it. They can also use it to suffocate someone which will make it difficult for the police to find traces of evidence.
- Plastics also cause environmental hazards if not disposed properly. It causes blockage of drainage passage and also causes the environment to be unclean.
In conclusion, "the use of plastics and plastic related containers should be banned in the country" because it causes more harm than good to the people.

Environmental hazards such as global warming are major problems ravaging the country in recent times. Plastic containers and their disposals cannot be left out as one of the major causes of these problems. Disposal and burning of used plastic containers serve as major threats to lives of wildlife and even human lives.
Moreover, it has been proved that certain chemicals from plastics escape into the food substances that are contained in them which serve as poisons to anybody that eat these food substances.
Plastic, when stored or disposed of in a particular place for a long time, release toxins which are inimical to the ecosystem. Plants and animals take in these toxins and their health is strongly affected.
With these obvious harms caused by plastic containers, the government should ban its further use and provide a better alternative means of product packaging.
