So since no one could agree on an answer I spent a lot of time reading analysis's of Ulysses and most of them agreed that the main themes are, "freedom of exploration, fulfillment of life, and death" in this excerpt it states, "The thunder and the sunshine, and opposed Free hearts, free foreheads-- you and I are old" so selecting A I got the answer correct.

Something else to note is that a lot of the selections on brainly are the same question but there is a "a,b,c,d" answer set and a "a,b,c,d,e" answer set meaning somewhere along the line PLATO changed the answers. I hope this helps everyone
