Water is present in oceans, seas, lakes, rivers, ice caps, as groundwater and in the atmosphere. Water exists in different forms. On the earth's surface, there are three different forms of water namely solid, liquid and gaseous.
Solids, liquids, and gases are the forms. For example, the poles are cold, so the water at the poles are solid. When water is evaporated into the clouds or to make humidity, it is gas, and lastly when it rains or the body of oceans makes it liquid.
