The corresponding medians of two similar triangles are 8 and 20 if the perimeter of the larger triangle is 45 what is the perimeter of the smaller triangle

Two figures that have the same shape are said to be similar. When two figures are similar, the ratios of the lengths of their corresponding sides are equal. We calculate as follows:

(P/M)1 = (P/M)2
45/20 = P/8
P = 18 <------perimeter of the smaller triangle.
