Sam needs 4/6 cup of laundry detergent for his laundry. The cap on top of the laundry detergent holds 1/3 cup. He has I capful of detergent. Does he have enough?

Respuesta :

Yes, He has enough for 2 loads. If you simplify 4/6 you get 2/3 because 4 divided by 2 is 2 and 6 divided by 2 is 3. You end up with 2/3, and according to the problem that is enough for 2 loads.

Hope this helped :)

I'm editing my answer:
No he does not have enough for one load because he needs 2/3 for one load and he only has 1/3

Sorry for the mistake :/
