PLEASE NEED HELP ASAP All of the planets in our solar system, as well as comets and asteroids, orbit
the Sun. If the Sun were to suddenly disappear, what would most likely happen
to the motion of the planets, comets, and asteroids that currently travel around
the Sun?
A. These celestial bodies would continue traveling in their orbits just as if the Sun
had not disappeared because of gravity.
B. These celestial bodies would begin traveling in a spiral in the same direction as
their tangential velocities because of gravity.
C. These celestial bodies would continue traveling in their orbits just as if the Sun
had not disappeared because they have inertia.
D. These celestial bodies would begin traveling in a straight line in the same
direction as their tangential velocities because they have inertia.
