Hi !

I'm brazilian and I don't speak English, so sorry me for my bad grammar :/

I've a doubt: when I've to put in the "to" behind a verb ?
I see a lot of verbs who doesn't has the "to" behind its.
And also have verbs that has an "ing" at the final. Why have I to put
"ing" and don't "to" ?

Anyone can help me ?

Thank you too much ! :]

There are two basic reasons to add -ing to the end of a verb: to form one of the progressive tenses or to make a gerund. as for the to thing I'm not to sure what your asking

You put 'ing' at the end of the verb when the verb is currently still happening.
Like, 'sitting.' I am sitting right now, at this moment.
'To' is used after a verb that is 'to be.' For example, I 'plan to' go home. I 'hope to' succeed.

I'm not really sure how to explain, I'm not a teacher, but I hope that helped.
