The from of government in which a small group or a person have the absolute power and there are no constitutional limitations on them is called Dictatorship. African nations such as Zimbabwe, Uganda and Asian nation North Korea and Eastern countries such as Syria are dictatorships.
Philippines: Republic democracy
A Presidential system is a a republican and democratic form of government in which the legislative branch is separate form the executive branch and the head of the government leads the executive branch. The head of state is called president and it is a ceremonial post.
The classification of the government by how much power is held would be the following
Japan.
> Japan is a Constitutional monarchy.
> The Emperor has ruled Japan for years. However, there is a Parliament that exerts a kind of "opposite force" that balances the power of the government.
> Japan has a central government that includes the Parliament and the judicial branch.
> Today, the Emperor is a respected figure that really does not exert any political decision in the government, although he is considered the head of the state.
> The political functions rely on the Prime Minister of Japan and the ministers of the cabinet.
>Japan adopted its Constitution in 1947.
North Korea.
> North Kore is a dictatorship.
> North Korea is ruled by Kim Jong-il, the son of Kim II-Sung, who is considered to be the eternal President of the country.
> North Korea practices a kind of Communist system called Juche. A system of self-reliance or self-production without any external intervention.
> There are no freedoms or liberties in North Korea.
> Every citizen must agree to the policies emanated by the state.
The Philippines.
> The Philippines is a Republic.
> It is considered to be a representative democracy ruled by a President, elected by the will of the citizens.
> The political system is similar to the United States in that it includes an executive branch, a legislative branch, and a judicial branch.
The Philippines adopted its Constitution in 1987.
> Corazón de Aquino was the President in that moment.
We can conclude that these Asian countries have different political systems that have created some tensions in the modern era because they represent diverse ideologies that serve different political interests in the region.
