Answer: x=4
the first rectangle is 1.5 times larger than the second. i know this because the side length 4.5 is 1.5 times greater than the side length of 3.
if the rectangles are similar, then x should be 1.5 times smaller than 6. so i did 6/1.5 and that's 4.
