The similarity that the Pueblo revolt had with the battles between Marathas and Mughals was that the both wars went fought over territories.

The Munghals and the Marathas constantly fought each due to the need to gain territories from each other. The fight over the territories was due to their respective religions.

The Pueblos on the other hand revolted because the native Americans wanted the Spanish invaders out of their territories. The Pueblo people fought against the Spanish in New Mexico.
