Tú and usted are basically the same thing but “tú” is less formal than “usted”. Usted is mostly used when you don’t know someone or taking to elderly people. And tú is used when your talking to someone of the same age, the same rank, etc.
The word “tú” is meaning you and “usted” is used to also mean you or replacing boy or a girl. You can use them by saying:

“Tú eres cómico”
-you are funny

“Usted es cómico”
-she/he is funny

“Y usted”
-And you (this is used if you are talking to someone older like a teacher it is more formal)
