Start by completing the whole numbers eg, 9/9, 5/5 etc. If it is like 3b, 3/3 is the largest because it is the whole of the cake. The smaller the bottom number, the bigger the slices. The bigger the bottom number, the smaller the slices. If it is like 7b, It is equal or if it is equivalent to the other number. Hope this helps : )
