It is a myth due to the fact that the moon is made out of the collective tears, torn up homework, gum and wrappers from he bottom of bags, and wrinkled paper (from being left in the bottom of peoples' backpacks) of students. These substances form a sticky substance (similar to cheese) and is how that myth got created.
